Examine the history and current status of social justice activism, the role of the media and the notion of “slacktivism.” Join Social Justice Institute Director Dr. Rhonda Williams, civil rights attorney James L. Hardiman, local activist Rachelle Smith, The Fixers producer Kate Sopko, and textual activist/entrepreneur RA Washington as they discuss the effectiveness and reach of modern-day activism while imagining new ways forward.
